About Us

Our small, family-run hobby shop opened over thirty years ago under the name L & J Hobbies. Four years ago, the original founder passed away and the current owners purchased the store from his widow. The store is currently operating under the name Family Hobby Shops, LLC, but we are still know around the area as L & J Hobbies.

After we received phone calls and letters from our out-of-town customers, we decided to open an online store in 2011.
